Shalom.
As we start this new month, let us display the true Christian values and attitude which are to always lend a helping hand. We must love our neighbour even as we love ourselves. Jesus taught many parables and one of the outstanding ones is the parable of the Good Samaritan.

The Priest and the Levite left a man dying as they rushed for Temple duties but that God of the Temple commanded us all to love our neighbour even as we love ourselves. What if the dying man had been the son of the Priest? Would he have rushed for Temple duty leaving his own son dying? No indeed!

Jesus taught that we must do unto others even as we would want them to do to us. Who would ever want to be left dying by the road side by someone rushing to any service? If you do not want to be left in that condition, then never leave someone in that condition. Even if it was the Priest dying, he would never justify another Priest leaving him while rushing for Temple duties.

True Temple service starts by helping the man dying on the way side. Never be too busy to lend a helping hand. Help someone. Pray for someone. Fast for someone. Prefer someone. Esteem someone better than yourself! Testify to someone. Bring someone to Christ. Jesus lived for us. Let us now also live for others. That is eternal life.

Luk 10:36—37
Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, *Go, and do thou likewise.*

James 2:8
If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

Gal 6:10
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

60-0925 - That Day On Calvary.
85 Now, the first thing I want to say, is, Jesus never lived for Himself. His life was spent for others. That’s, perfectly, Eternal Life. When you say you go to church, and you do good things, that’s fine. But when you live your life to yourself, you haven’t Eternal Life. Eternal Life, is living for others. It proved it when It come in the Lamb of God. He lived, and had Eternal Life, because He did not live for Himself. He lived for others. And you receive Eternal Life, by receiving that day, and you don’t live for yourself no more. You live for others.
